The IT Scenario - Facts and Figures In
the Information Technology industry, change is the only constant.

Corporation (IDC) estimates the worldwide market for technical

Dataquest '99 IT industry survey reports that the Indian Computer
Training Industry has grown from Rs. 870 Cr. (US $20 million)
in 1999. ·

predicts the global software services market to be worth US $ 50
billion in the near future and employ over a million software
professionals. ·

study by the Information Technology Association of America reveals
that more than 346,000 IT jobs remain unfilled in 1998 for lack of
skilled IT Professionals. *
