International Data Corporation (IDC) estimates the worldwide market for technical computer training to grow from US $16 billion in 1996 to US $28 billion by the year 2001. ·         The Dataquest '99 IT industry survey reports that the Indian Computer Training Industry has grown  from Rs. 870 Cr. (US $20 million) in 1999.

·         NASSCOM* predicts the global software services market to be worth US $ 50 billion in the near future and employ over a million software professionals. 

·         A study by the Information Technology Association of America reveals that more than 346,000 IT jobs remain unfilled in 1998 for lack of skilled IT Professionals.
